Toepel Joins PA Fish and Boat Commission at Upcoming Trout Stocking Along Unami Creek
WHAT: Rep. Marcy Toepel (R-Montgomery) will join members of the PA Fish and Boat Commission as they stock Unami Creek with hundreds of catchable-size rainbow trout on Wednesday, March 7 at 2 p.m. The trout stocking event is in preparation of the 2012 fresh water fishing season, which is set to begin across the state’s 18 southeastern counties, including Montgomery County, on Saturday, March 31.

Unami Creek is home to a variety of freshwater fish species including dace, darters, minnows, suckers, brown trout and native brook trout.

WHEN: Wednesday, March 7, 2 p.m.

WHERE: Toepel and members of the Commission will meet in the parking lot of Milford Township Volunteer Fire Co., 2185 Milford Square Pike in Quakertown at 2 p.m., and then stop at several locations along the Unami Creek.
