Toepel to Host Dog Licensing Event in Gilbertsville on Aug. 19
HARRISBURG – Rep. Marcy Toepel (R-Montgomery) is inviting dog owners of the 147th to a dog licensing event on Saturday, Aug. 19, from 9-11 a.m. at her district office in the Hanover Court retail complex, 1885 Swamp Pike Road, Suite 107, Gilbertsville.

“As our lives get busier each day, sometimes important tasks – like licensing our pets – are forgotten. Anyone who has not yet licensed their dog for this year has an opportunity to quickly and easily fix that by coming to my office,” Toepel said.

Montgomery County Treasurer Jason Salus and his staff will be visiting Toepel’s district office for the registering of 2017 dog licenses and lifetime dog licenses so people can be in compliance with the state law requiring all dogs to be licensed.

Residents should bring their completed dog license applications, which can be found at, and a check, money order or cash. They can expect to receive the tags in the mail within three days.

Walk-ins are welcome. Dogs are not required to be present to obtain a license. Please call the district office at (610) 323-3299 with any questions.
