Business Spotlight - Suloman’s Dairy
I visited Suloman’s Dairy, a working dairy farm with a full-service dairy store. Suloman’s Dairy is a recognized milk and ice cream destination within the Boyertown region of my district. The dairy farm was founded by the Suloman family in 1923, and the dairy store opened in 1971.

Today, the farm is owned and operated by Larry and Darlene Suloman with the help of more than 30 part-time employees, many of whom have worked part-time on the farm or in the store their whole adult lives. The dairy farm consists of 65-70 milking heads of cows with a total stable of nearly 100 cows. In addition, Larry and Darlene also breed thoroughbred horses which are sold for racing owners.

All of the milk produced by the Suloman’s cows is produced in house into milks and cream. Their milk is antibiotic and hormone free. In the store, you’ll find their selection of milk, local produce, locally made candies, baked goods, cider, honey, meats and Nelson brand ice creams.

I recommend supporting local businesses, and Suloman’s Dairy is an excellent example. Suloman’s Dairy is located at 2782 Leidy Road in Gilbertsville. Their phone number is 610-323-0314.

I’ll be visiting a business each week for my Business Spotlight! It's a one-on-one tour with me so I can learn more about the many wonderful businesses we have in the 147th District. The business must be in the 147th District to be eligible. If you'd like your business to be featured, please contact Bill at or by phone at 215-679-3082 so we can schedule a tour.
